Question Printing Out of State Subscribers

I need to print out labels for just my out of state subscribers but I don't know how to do that. This is to send them a letter not a newspaper. Please help.

Default Out of state

First you need to know the number of your sub rate for out of state subscribers. To find this, go to File>Configure List>General>Subscription Rates.
Now go to Print Reports>List Analysis>User Defined Labels.
Hit 'Print All' then hit the "Advanced" tab.
Under the "Select" portion choose and type this:

Newspaper Status {Af15} = {1} And
Rate Code {Af19} = {3} End

I just put the 3 in the Rate Code portion so you can see how to type it in. Use your own number for your Out of State rate code.

Then hit "Continue", "Continue" and you're done! Of course make sure your label printer is ready to go!

Hope this helps.

Vindicator's solution will work, but assumes that all out-of-state subscribers are set to the rate specified. If you want to make it stricly based on state, use this code instead of rate code in her example:

State {Af8} <> {MI}

This assumes your state is Michigan.

Also, be sure to include the newspaper status line as in her example or else you will print labels for all non-subscribers in the list as well.

Default That is lengthy...

This solution would also mean that you would have to do it for EVERY state since Karen said she needed it for out-of-state subscriberS. It would be easier to use the one or two rates that you normally would use for out-of-state subscribers than to potentially have to put in 20-50 states in my opinion.

How do you do it if your out-of-county and out-of-state sub rate is the same?
